Along the years I have been involved in several activities of my personal interest. Some of them, in my point of view, are worth to be registered here because they are directly linked to technology and my personal and life long interest problem solving, including education.

National Symposium on Physics Teaching, 2019

In this event I had the opportunity to present the first stage of the educational product that I have been developing during the Master Degree. The educational product consists of a teaching script of Electromagnetic Waves, based on the reception of images of meteorological satellites with low cost material. During the activity the students were able to receive satellite images (NOAA 18). The presented work can be found at this link.

National Symposium on Physics Teaching, 2017

At this event I had the opportunity to present the educational robotics work developed with the public school students of Parnaíba-PI. The written work can be found at this link.

Brazilian Robotics Olympics (Olimpíada Brasileira de Robótica – OBR), 2016

Student Advisor for both Practical and Theoretical modality: in this activity students that I trained got medal of best team in Programming. Students were trained with Scratch, Scratch for Arduino (S4A) and later C / C ++ with Arduino.

Knowledge Olympics – SESI Robotics Festival, 2016

Due to the good results at OBR we were able to partner with SESI (a private school) and had access to Lego Mindstorm kits and sponsorship to participate in this event that took place in Brasilia-DF.

Linux From Scratch, 2014

In this activity I made my own version of the translation of Gerard Beekmans’ book Linux From Scratch. At the time there was not an updated version of the book and besides translating for personal use I executed the entire script of the book and completed the “assembly” of the GNU / Linux system on my own machine. The work can be found at this link.
